Holy Color

Exhibition of Paintings

May 17- May 29, 2025

Opening Night, May 17, 6-9 pm

Enter through Merchant House, 1150 Magazine Street, New Orleans

A once in a lifetime experience!

Join for an exhibition of paintings inspired by a love of color and the joy it brings to life. This exquisite collection of paintings are by local New Orleans female painters Mary Scinto, Michie Copper, Virginia Candler, Josie Azuma, Rachel Loyacono, and Catherine Walker. The show is a community production by Merchant House and their spring Artist in Residence, Mary Scinto.

The evening will be an experiential event, with the blank canvas of the restored historic building, Merchant Hall, transformed both into an art gallery and intentionally curated space with the design expertise of Merchant House's creative team.

The entrance to the exhibition is through Merchant House located at 1150 Magazine Street where you will be greeted with champagne and given the opportunity to shop one-of-a-kind vintage that breaks every antiquated rule. It will also give you a chance to see artworks in a home-like setting curated with a passion for design.
We are so excited to share this night with you, all ages are welcome and the event is free and open to the public!
