The Artist Window
Insight from the Artist: Out the window, the old crumbling candy pink stone walls stood tall since 1838. The chipping paint and faded color evidence of the deluges, winds, inesescable heat and beating New Orleans summer sun. A storm rolled in as the painter's palette was set. Watching the sky transform sitting childlike on the floor, the light bounced ever so gently off the fern leaves as the brush strokes danced onto the canvas. Soon an image appeared unlike the rest, a studio view - a moment before the curtain call. The canvases stacked one by one as they multiplied each day with a faint inscription 'I gave my all.'
